Common questions
Pricing, Straight Up
Does the price change once you start?
No. The price is locked in before we start, so what lands on the invoice is exactly the quote you approved, even if the job turns out quicker or more involved than first thought.
Why isn't the lowest price your main focus?
Because the lowest number on paper doesn't always add up to the best outcome. We'd rather charge a fair, fixed price for work backed by a lifetime labour warranty than race to the bottom and cut corners.
What does the $65 off your first service cover?
It's $65 off your first service with us, applied for new customers who book online. It stacks with the $0 call-out fee, so there's still nothing to pay just to get us out.
Is the quote really free?
Yes. Assessing the job, explaining the fault, and quoting the repair all cost nothing, with no obligation to book us afterward.
Common questions
Who's Responsible for What
Can you check my licence number?
Absolutely. Lic #465156C is registered with NSW Fair Trading, and it's public information, nothing hidden about it.
What is your lifetime labour warranty?
Every repair carries an unlimited-time guarantee on the labour itself. Should our workmanship ever fail down the track, returning to fix it properly is on us.
Can I fix a plumbing emergency myself?
For a leak, you can safely turn the water off at the meter while you wait. For a gas smell, leave the property and call 000 if it's strong. Beyond that, plumbing and gas repairs need a licensed tradesperson under NSW law.
Who is responsible for a blocked sewer, me or Sydney Water?
The pipework linking your house to that connection point falls under your ownership. Beyond it, Sydney Water takes over, and we'll always say plainly which side a fault sits on.
Common questions
Response, Timing and Booking
How do I book?
Ring (02) 9139 9963 and speak to a real person straight away, or fill in the callback form if that suits better. Both paths lead to help, any hour of the day.
What counts as a plumbing emergency?
Anything actively getting worse counts: water you can't stop, no hot water at all, a blocked toilet with no working alternative, or a gas smell. A minor drip or a sluggish drain generally holds until a booked visit.
How fast can you get here?
As fast as the day allows. Dispatch happens the moment you call, not after a booking slot days away.
Do you work weekends and public holidays?
Yes, every day of the year, including weekends and public holidays. A real person answers, not an automated system.
Common questions
The Glenhaven Questions
Do you take on local new builds and renovation work?
Emergency response is our focus, but plenty of Glenhaven's brick-veneer renovations from the 1980s onward have brought us back for related plumbing once the urgent job's sorted.
Do you cover the suburbs next to Glenhaven?
Yes, including Castle Hill, Cherrybrook, Kellyville, Baulkham Hills and Beaumont Hills. If you're on the border of one of these, you're still on our regular run.
How local are you, really?
Glenhaven is our home turf, and the surrounding Hills Shire suburbs are places we're on call most weeks, not an occasional trip. We're familiar with the everyday spots too, from Living Choice Glenhaven through to the heavy leaf drop that clogs gutters and drains here every autumn.
What suburbs do you service around Glenhaven?
Castle Hill, Cherrybrook, Kellyville, Baulkham Hills and Beaumont Hills, alongside Glenhaven itself. All five sit on our usual coverage.
